On Time Talent Solutions is seeking a Vice President of Information Systems. The ideal candidate will set the strategic direction for information technology and communications acquisition, implementation, support, and services that are aligned with the Health System strategic initiatives and short term needs. 

Vice President of Information Systems Lead Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with other senior executives and medical staff leaders in the establishment and assessment of programs, policies and procedures, and standards of services to ensure patient needs are met and other clinical and administrative groups are involved as needed.

  • Serves as Project Manager on viable strategic and operational initiatives related to IT.

  • Accomplishes special projects by identifying and analyzing issues and priorities; conveying and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; assessing
    landmark achievements; evaluating optional courses of action; changing
    assumptions and direction.

  • Establish and cultivate the information technology/communications strategic plan and ensures alignment with the Health System’s strategic initiatives.

  • Develops and maintains IT Policies and Procedures.

  • Observe the healthcare delivery environment and technology innovation to ensure
    applicable implementation of information systems and technology.

  • Responsible for the ongoing growth and development of assigned leadership team
    members and ultimately, their staff members.

  • Performs other duties as required.

Vice President of Information Systems Lead Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the field of computer science, information systems or business administration

  • 15+ years of experience in a senior leadership position within an Information Technology environment; Electronic Medical Record experience; experience with technology architecture strategies and creating both short and long term technological strategic plans.

  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems, cloud infrastructure, data ETL and DSS

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing a strategy for data security and privacy.

  • Proven experience in building a highly impactful, collaborative, and innovative IT Team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse or other clinical experience; Project Management Institute certification; Lean Six Sigma Certification.
