On Time Talent Solutions is seeking a Statistician with a solid background in nonclinical statistics, strong consulting skills, and an interest in collaborating with research scientists in drug discovery and development.
Statistician Responsibilities:
Assist in and/or be accountable for selecting statistical methods for data analysis, authoring the corresponding sections of the analysis plan, and conducting the actual analysis once a reporting database is created
Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team comprising of biologists, hardware, and software engineers as they design, improve and validate the underlying assay
Review statistical plans, protocols, submissions, and any other publication for accuracy
Successful and timely completion of the statistical analyses and proper record storage for clinical studies and submissions directly impacts the ability to meet product market entry dates
Ensure compliance requirements are incorporated into area activities involving statistics
Responsible for assisting in the communication of study results via regulatory submissions, and manuscripts, as well as for communicating one-on-one with key customers
Statistician Qualifications:
PhD or MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics or Mathematics, or a related field
Demonstrated expertise in at least one scripting languages such as MATLAB (preferred), Python or R for pipelines and complex data analysis
Expertise in machine learning techniques such as convolutional neural networks, recursive neural networks, LSTMs, random forests
Competent in experimental designs, sampling plans, equivalence studies, confidence and reliability testing and statistical analysis for test method evaluation
Self-management skills with a focus on results for timely and accurate completion of competing deliverables
