Occupational Therapist - OT - Outpatient Responsibilities:
  • Practice in dynamic settings with a variety of diseases, conditions, and disorders
  • Gather pertinent patient data, including past & current health status
  • Test, measure, and assess patient’s current condition and abilities, to generate a therapy diagnosis
  • Provide education to patients and other appropriate parties, working collaboratively in conjunction with clinical judgement to establish treatment goals
  • Design, implement, and modify research-based treatments based on anticipated optimal outcomes
  • Re-assess for measurable outcomes, modify goals and treatment plan per discipline guidelines
  • Promote rehabilitation services through professional conduct, customer service and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction
Occupational Therapist - OT - Outpatient Qualifications:
  • Ability to maintain professional conduct, work collaboratively and communicate effectively with colleagues, interdisciplinary team, patients, and families
  • Completed degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current state Occupational Therapy / OT license
  • Good time management, judgement, & problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable to implement new treatment strategies based on latest research
