Dr. Carolyn Woodfork Richardson, MD
Pediatrician

Dr. Richardson is a board-certified pediatrician who challenges physicians, support medical staff, and patients/parents to do what needs to be done to make the necessary changes to achieve the best health outcome possible. She is a graduate from Meharry Medical College in Nashville TN, completed her pediatric residency training at Howard University and Affiliated Hospitals in her hometown - Washington DC, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Richardson is a member of Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society, is the recipient of several American Medical Association Physician Recognition Awards and is one of 108 physicians highlighted in the book “Against All Odds – Celebrating Black Women in Medicine.” She has authored two inspirational books and has been a featured speaker at continuing education programs, community health fairs, youth workshops, and conferences for women.

Desiree Adams, MSN, RN-BC, CNE
Owner, Nurse Know It All

Desiree is a full-time nurse, student, mother, and wife who resides in Houston, Texas. She has over 15 years of nursing experience in several specialties including critical care, infusion therapy, oncology and vascular access. In 2003, Desiree started her career as a nursing assistant at a large acute care hospital located in world renowned Texas Medical Center. Her love and passion for bringing smiles, peace, and the joy of laughter to people in their most vulnerable moments inspired her to pursue her nursing degree. In 2005, she graduated from Houston Community College with her Associates in Nursing. Later, Desiree expanded her educational pursuits by earning her B.S. in Nursing from the University of Houston following up with her master’s degree from the University of Texas in Arlington with a concentration in Education. Currently, she is pursuing her doctoral degree in Public Health as she aspires to continue influencing the masses through programs that enhance the mission and vision of Nurse Know It All ™ and DesiredME/DesiredYOU. In 2016, Desiree started the DesiredME/DesiredYOU website which empowers readers to take personal responsibility in caring for their body, mind and spirit. In 2018, she launched Nurse Know It All ™; a motivational, education initiative that helps individuals and communities make impactful health outcomes through spirituality, positive energy, holistic care and defining purpose.

Quindola Crowley, PhD, LICSW, BCD
Chief Veterans Care and Transition Service, Michael E. DeBackey Veterans Administration Medical Center

Quindola Crowley, PhD, LICSW, BCD serves as the Chief of the evolving Veterans Care and Transitional Service line at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) where she leads a dynamic multidisciplinary team of over 300 social workers, RN Nurse Case managers, Peer supports, psychologists and LMFTS. Dr. Quindola Crowley has over 20 years of executive-level leadership experience that she lends to small business organizations, churches, and non-profits - assisting them with business mapping, strategic planning and systems redesign. She opened a nonprofit Transitions Wellness Center and Spa that provided massage therapy, wellness coaching, life coaching, and counseling to women. Dr. Quindola also hosts the Total Woman Mind Body Spirit Conference that brings national speakers to uplift, encourage, and equip women to live their best lives. In addition, she has held many significant titles and positions, including being named a Women of Influence in the State of Washington. Her speaking engagements include women’s conferences, NAACP, collegiate events and National Health and Wellness conferences. Dr. Quindola holds the esteemed title of Lieutenant Colonel(R). As a Veteran, she served over 29 years in the army where she had two commissions and held three successful military commands - one as an engineer officer and two other commands while serving as a Medical Service Corp Officer.
